There will be no minyan services at Beth Ahm on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23. Instead we will join with members of B’nai Israel Synagogue for minyan services at their location. Thanksgiving Day services at B’nai Israel will be held at 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM. The address is 5085 Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield.

Between Shabbat Minha and Ma’ariv we have Seudah Shlishit (the traditional “third meal” of Shabbat), featuring light refreshments, friendly conversation, and zemirot (Shabbat songs).
Rabbi Rubenstein leads an informal Torah study group on Shabbat from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Topics vary. Everyone is welcome.
Throughout the year, Shabbat morning services are enhanced by the Meturgemon Torah reading, Singing Core, or One-One-Foot learning sessions. For a description of each, click here. Specific dates for these enhancements will be communicated through the congregation’s weekly publicity.
In December and January, Shabbat Minha will be at 1 PM, followed by a brief D’var Torah in lieu of Ma’ariv.
Barrier-free entrance is available for all services.
Our main entrance is barrier-free and includes an automatic door opener on the left as you enter the building. For weekday minyan, Friday nights, and Shabbat afternoon services, barrier-free entry is via glass door overlooking our Bible Garden, using sidewalk from main entrance. Alternate entrance is via lower rear door facing south parking lot. Chapel is on 2nd floor, first room on your left.
